There once was a man named Dan,
Who had an unusual plan,
He said with a grin,
"I'll stick a fork in my chin,
And impress every woman and man!"

This limerick is humorous because it presents a ridiculous and nonsensical plan (sticking a fork in one’s chin) that is supposed to impress others.

The absurdity of the plan and the speaker’s confidence in it make it funny.
