On Saint Patrick's Day, Irish traditions,
Are celebrated with much ambition,
From parades to jigs,
And other merry gigs,
It's a day of cultural transition.

This limerick celebrates the cultural traditions of Ireland on Saint Patrick’s Day.

The first two lines introduce the theme, while the third and fourth lines describe some of the common festivities associated with the holiday.
